pacquiao-vs-cotto-free-live-stream

So after the much anticipated fight of Miguel Cotto and Manny Pacquiao, who’s next in line?

Cotto did what he can but Pacman’s speed and left hand landed pretty fast before he can even escaped them. Kenny Bayless, the referee did what was right before more punches and savages can land on Cotto.

Cotto fought fair, clean and square. He is my favorite so far who fought with Pacman with just one thing in mind, Sports and nothing else. He was a good man but puzzled of what just happened. He trained hard and did all he can but then again Pacman is a different kind of boxer.

55 seconds before the 12th round ends Kenny Bayless stop the fight and made Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao wins another belt and becomes the new Welterweight title”.

Manny Pacquiao has become the first boxer in history to win titles at seven different weights after winning from Miguel Cotto.

So the next question remains, who’s next???

friday-the-13th

So it’s Friday the 13th any superstitions comes to mind?

Well, honestly I had a rough start and my Friday didn’t went well as plan but I didn’t lose hope. Work went well. We started decorating our office and of course with the help of my co-workers it made things a lot easier. I just wish they would helped out a little bit more.

Got home same time but the mood was tainted. Managed to make some errands and watched Denzel Washington and John Travolta’s movie Taking on Phelham 123. Not a bad movie at all.

Kids retired early and I am wondering what tomorrow gonna be like? Ever plan of how your day will start and how it will end but all of sudden a big detour happens and make everything upside down.

Well, enjoy your weekend and do some productive. Take care and be positive!!!

In the kitchen

ChefKikay -Ube Halaya

She is vibrant 10 year old girl and my only girl. She loves to help out and be in the kitchen and be my assistant. When I am baking you will definitely see her across the table/counter with me. She diligently goes over the ingredients a couple of times to make sure everything is set and lines them up accordingly.

She loves to go too culinary school. We sent her to this Junior Chef class and she fell in love with it. Unfortunately, she is too big (age wise) for the next class and too young to fit in.

She hasn’t lose hope that one day she will be like her Uncle Chef Mark.

Inset picture: She made the Ube Halaya from scratch. I was just there to make sure she doesn’t get burn and turn on and off the stove.

Kuya Slicing Strawberries

Kids loves to be with Kuya. He is my first born and my only boy. When kids, who knows Kuya they go gaga when he is around. At 16, he still loves to play and cares for his sister and cousins and neighbor kids dearly.

He also loves to cooked and my loyal helper. He is my extra hands when I need one. He helps chopped, sliced and cleaned up when I am in the kitchen. When I start cooking or baking you will see that the kitchen get crowded easily.

Sometimes I run out of idea who will helped me with what because they already are doing what I was gonna tell them.

He asked a lot of questions when it comes too cooking. He wants to be nurse like her Tita Joan. I hope that he will pursue and finish nursing for I am backing him up all the way.

Inset pictures: Showed him how to sliced it and the rest is history.

One more thing or two. When they are in the kitchen it’s a riot and no one seems to be liking in cleaning up the mess and washing things. Just a thought that I always ended being the human dishwasher… :)

Of life’s many frustrations and struggles we need to keep a positive outlook no matter what.

Over the years of many failed here and there, let’s not elaborate the failure but look at the bright side. I have to learn to be more positive in many ways when things don’t happen, there is a purpose for it not to push through. I just look at it as a sign that something big will happen, a good one.

And over time my instinct didn’t fail me, not even once. Have you met someone but with no reason at all, you got so mad or pissed off of his/her presence? Well, I do. And that kind of instinct has saved me from so much trouble and misery. I guess first impression do really last and it has never doubted my judge.

I easily warm up with people but that doesn’t mean I am comfortable with you. I can be friendly like a kid who wants his candy and I can be your worst enemy if I have to be. You can call me whatever you like and point your fingers if you think I am the culprit but do not judge me until proven guilty for I will do my best to befriend you and know what’s the real reason behind all the shenanigans.

Sad to say but people had and have step on me like I am dirty rag and over and over it had happened but this time I fought back and stood up.

With TLC’s new show titled, “Flowers Uncut” I got glued and hook. The first 2 episodes made me want to watch more and how creativity flows like an electricity.

Jeff Leatham, the beauty behind the flowers uncut made me missed my Lola Abing Mercado. She makes wonderful flowers from a simple bouquet to the most extravagant arrangement your heart’s content and that’s where I learned how to make some flower arrangements. My dad is also into flowers. Well, I guess it runs in the blood.

Unfortunately, I am married to guy who got allergies to flowers so opted to deal with greenery. Lola, also supplied a lot big company with her greenery aside from the flowers.

Not to mention her fried chicken and fresh lumpia are to die for… :)

She has moved to heaven to continue her passion. She will always be remembered and never forgotten. We missed you Lola Abing. :)
