Back 2 Reality

Tomorrow officially starts the back to school and my gremlins are so eager to see their teachers and classmates. Unlike, other kids they had fun during their winter break and are eager to go back to school to learn more. As a Mom I am hoping and praying that they will do good in school and will give me good grades as well.

I do not buy their grades but rather reward them of something age appropriate. So far they have been good with their chores, homework, school reports and behavior. I always stress this out to them that this is their future and not mine. They seem to be very diligent with their respective work and behaving greatly in school. So far, we haven’t been called to the Principal’s office yet *crossing my fingers and toes* for these.

It’s O.T.

I am not complaining at all with all the extra work we all need to put in to make things work either at home or at work. For the past few weeks it’s O.T. (overtime) galore at work. More O.T. more money for us.

Good thing we still have time for our little bounding moment and check on their status at school. They are so enjoying school and we are also watching their extra curricular activities not to interfere with their school time and family time as well.

They understand so far that Mommy needs to work a little bit late than usual cause it’s not everyday I am going home late. Sometimes, twice a week and the most is 4 times a week. In a month, maybe 8 nights late and the max 16 nights. Not bad at all considering most months I might work O.T. 4 times in a month.

Thankful that they have learn to take care of each other and help each other out on homework, tasks at home and with each other.

It’s that time of year again where school results from previous year are being mailed and reports and success of their child’s learning abilities are presented right when parents open that mailed envelope. So, we are so please with the results of our kids.

Both kids are doing their best to be at the top of their games and so far they have never failed us. Maybe, a little laziness here and there but other than that they are striving hard enough to make it where they are right now.

Being their Mom I am so proud of their achievements both in school and outside. Thanks mga anak for Making Your Parents Proud.

Star Report

My daughter’s Star Report for last school year.

Through this Star report each student’s highest and lowest are seen.

This report will also show of what kind of a student your child belongs…

regular, advance, gifted and so on.

A Star testing is like taking an I.Q. test.

She falls as an advance and gifted student.

She is currently enrolled to an advance class

and a gifted class as well.

Receiving her Star Report as a parent is like winning more than just a lotto

but a bright future for our daughter who continues to strive hard and

is so eager to learn.

Back 2 Skul

Today, marks 2008-2009 school year and boy are they so prepared and eager to learn new things. My daughter  is a transferee from another school district and from the sound of it a new adventure awaits my princess. She will be put to an advance class level and a whole lot of new stuff are offered. Chess, soccer, homework helper, cooking class and more.

We’ll see what this new school has to offer and how things will go from here. We are all ready and set to go. Just killing some time for we are so early going to school. Watching cartoons while I am blogging and tidying up the place.They seem to be a lot friendlier and organize.

Let’s get ready to learn new stuff.
