Hoping…

Since Friday night poker was somewhere else and I was hoping against hope that Saturday there will be no poker but then again I guess odds was against me for we had poker last Saturday.

I do not hate the game but the players who think that as the wife of their friend I am to serve and prepare food for them. Well, I used to prepare food when the came over but not for them but for us and since they are there as a visitor I always tell them come on and join us for dinner. So I guess that’s how they got spoiled.

We all had a great time over the weekend and was oh so busy. Friday nite and Saturday lunch time was spent with Mom and Pops and we all had a great time with each other. Ate at Thai BBQ for dinner and had lunch at Chili’s went home and they rest while I was baking some cookies and leche flan. Cleaned up here and there and the next thing I know it’s past midnight. Hit the sack and need to get ready for church in a few hours.

Sunday we always hear mass at 7:30 AM. While biding our goodbye’s to Mom and Pops and see you in 2 weeks we were late for church and when we got there just in time for the gospel. We had our usually breakfast and hit the stores to get a present for a 3 year old kid. Sunday’s weather was terrible is was scorching hot but we managed to enjoy it. We had some ice cream, water and a whole lots of stories being with each other.

We even had a conference talk at one of our local stores while buying some school supplies. We had a great time at the party and good food. We all got home on a Sunday nite oh so early but tired.
