After a long hours of deliberation, endless criticizing and not to mention a few punches and jabs here and there, it was stressful to be a middleman. To be unbias to two people whom I hold dear and care for. To keep an open mind and help them come up with a solution that both parties will agree on.
Behold the power of communication. It’s been ages since we all sat down together and discussed some unprecedented issues such as we have talked. Of course, there was the endless pointing of fingers, I am a better person than you are, you just doing this for revenge and all kind of nasty stuff when one’s relationship ends but guess what we all need to move on and be happy where the other person is going and while we might on the other end might have a hard time moving on like the other does. Slowly and a steady pace are not bad at all. Just take one step forward a day.
And so after a long hours of going in circles just 10 minutes before midnight, we have all come up with an agreement that all of people involved agreed upon. Signed in black and white and copies where given to both parties.
Because they want what’s best for their child they have agreed to something that both parties can and will handle. I am so proud of them. I slept with a big smile that one hurdled is over and I know a whole lot more will be coming my way. Just look at what communication does.
Behold the power of …….. C-O-M-M-U-N-I-C-A-T-I-O-N.
