As Easter Sunday came and left us so unprepared. We were so unprepared of what to do and where to go. Although, we were invited to a birthday gathering of my co-worker/friend. We still ended up like in dreamland, clueless to what’s next in line.
Everything was in order until Friday night came and change our entire plan for the last few days of Holy week. We were caught off guard of what’s happening and didn’t have any back up plans at all. A first for me… 🙂
Although, we wanted to visit some family members we hesitated for the drive was just tiring not to mention the traffic. I missed my family and friends during special days like these.
Makes me wanna plan and go home to Cebu for next year’s Holy Week. Perhaps, visit Bantayan Island where we all spend most of our summer aside from Moalboal. Bantayan has blossom and developed so much since the last time I visited.
The Perfect Hard-Boiled Eggs
Learn the art of cooking eggs to perfection without that gray-green tinge in the center.
Step 1: Place eggs in a saucepan in an even layer and cover in cold water, enough to reach the top of the shells.
Step 2: Cover with a lid and bring to a boil. Remove from heat immediately and let stand for about 10-15 minutes.
Step 3: Drain off the hot water and cover in cold water along with a few ice cubes. Let stand until completely cooled.
Keep these helpful hints in mind when making your hard-boiled eggs:
Tip: Farm fresh eggs are much harder to peel, so opt for older eggs if you plan to hard boil.
Tip: Add a small amount of baking soda to the boiling water to help make peeling easier.
Tip: Try rolling hard-boiled eggs lightly against a counter for easier cracking and peeling.
